Your home should fit you,
not the other way around.
Because even a one-year rental deserves a real home.
A focused, two-session service that helps renters create homes they enjoy coming back to, using mostly what they already have and without starting over.

Is This You?
- Your dining table is mostly a drop-zone, not for eating
- Your guitar, yoga mat, puzzle, or art supplies technically exist, but your home makes it hard to actually use them
- You've done the “shove everything in one room and close the door” before guests arrive
- Your “video call background” is a tiny corner carefully angled away from the chaos
- You don't want to throw everything out and start over
- You're about to move and want the new place to feel right from day one
If you're mentally ticking a few boxes, you're exactly who I design for.
How I Help
Not a "buy everything new" service
Most design services start with shopping lists. I start with what you already have.
My background is in spatial design, shaped by 6+ years in interior design, scenic design, and custom-built environments.
I focus on how your home actually works in daily life, not how it looks on paper.
Rather than decoration, the goal is simple: a space that feels easier to live in.
How It Works
A focused, two-session process. No renovations, no endless revisions.
- Talk about your space, what's not working, and what you'd like instead
- Discuss your routines and budget comfort zone
- If it feels like a good match, choose a package and book Session 1
- Walk through your space and how you actually live in it
- Spot friction: where clutter gathers, what's hard to clean, what feels "off"
- Test new layouts through live furniture rearranging
- Create a small shopping list only if we identify genuine gaps
- Put furniture and storage into place
- Fine-tune the layout until it feels natural for everyday life
- Make sure it still works when life gets busy
Two sessions mean you leave with a home that feels calmer, works harder, and is easier to live in, without months of decisions or endless revisions.

One Room Is Driving Me Mad

Real Client Results
Small changes. A big difference in how the space feels to live in.
Studio Apartment, Hong Kong
Challenge: Mitsumi wanted her studio to do more than provide a place to sleep and work. She wanted somewhere to unwind after coming home, display the things she cared about, and comfortably invite friends over.
Result: By rethinking the furniture layout, adding renter-friendly storage, and introducing layered lighting, the same studio now supports relaxing, hosting, displaying personal items, and working without feeling crowded.
"I definitely feel like I'm making the best use of my space right now. I have multiple comfortable places to relax, and I can easily have friends over without worrying about space."
— Mitsumi, Hong Kong

About
I'm Drishti, a spatial designer based in Hong Kong
My background is in designing environments that support how people move, interact, and live within a space.
Over the past 6+ years, I've worked across interior design, scenic design for theatre, installations, and custom-built environments. Whether designing a 7,500 sq ft penthouse, a stage set, or a small rental apartment, I've always been fascinated by the same question:
How can a space better support the people using it?
It's the same question that guides my work with renters today. Instead of focusing on decorating or buying more things, I help people make better use of the space they already have, so they spend less time fighting their space and more time enjoying it.
FAQ
I'm not naturally tidy. Will this even work for me?
Yes. I design for your real habits, not a perfect lifestyle.
I don't expect you to become a different person or suddenly enjoy cleaning. Instead, we look at where things naturally land, create better drop zones, and make it easier to put things away without thinking about it.
The goal isn't perfection. It's a home that's easier to live in on both your productive days and your low-energy ones.
Why is this less expensive than traditional interior design?
Because it's designed for a different kind of problem.
Traditional interior design is often the right choice when you're renovating, buying custom furniture, or redesigning a home from scratch.
Most renters don't need that.
They need help making the space they already have work better.
That's what this service is for: improving layout, flow, storage, and everyday functionality without the cost, disruption, or commitment of a full interior design project.
Will you tell me to get rid of lots of things?
We'll gently edit, but I'm not here to police your belongings. My focus is to make what you keep work harder: easier to find, easier to put away, and less visually overwhelming.
Do you do renovations or anything permanent?
No. Everything we do is 100% renter-friendly and completely reversible. No walls down, no built-ins, no drilling that will upset your landlord. We work with layout, movable furniture, lighting and storage you can take with you.
Do you only work in person? What if I'm moving soon?
For Hong Kong rentals, I recommend in-person sessions because moving things physically is a big part of the process. If you're moving and don't have access yet, we can do Session 1 online using your floor plan and photos, then do Session 2 in person after you move in.
Why bother, if it's just a rental?
Because a one-year lease is still 365 days of your actual life.
You wake up there, come home tired there, relax there, and spend time with the people and hobbies you care about there.
And if you're already paying Hong Kong rent every month, it makes sense to have a home that actually supports your day-to-day life.
You don't have to wait until you own a property to enjoy living in it.
I live with a partner / roommates. Can we still do this?
Yes. There will always be one main client and point of contact, but I'm happy to work in homes with more than one person. If we're working on shared spaces (like the living room), I ask that everyone who uses them is aware of the project and joins at least part of Session 1 so we can make decisions that feel fair and realistic for everyone. If we're only working on your private room, I'll stay within that space.
